DOAS Field Trip: Wolf Mountain – Sat., June 13

On Saturday June 13th, DOAS will sponsor a trip to the Wolf Mountain Nature Preserve and the Rogers

Environmental Education Center. This whole day trip will include bird watching, wildlife viewing, and

spectacular looks at wolves, artic foxes, and our northeastern coyotes. A guide is available for

participants at the Wolf Mountain Nature Preserve. This trip is limited to 15 people. Reservations are

required.

 

The trip will take about an hour from Oneonta, to Wolf Mountain Nature Preserve. An admission fee of

$5 is charged, some easy to moderate hiking, boots and or footwear that is waterproof is recommended

as we will be going through bogs and wetlands. Participants will need to pack a picnic lunch. In the

afternoon, group will continue to Rogers Environmental Educational Center for more birdwatching and

wildlife viewing. Carpooling is recommended. For further information and reservations: contact:
