Mark Your Calendars for the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society’s Annual Charter Dinner on Friday October 16, 2026, as we celebrate our 58th year! The event will once again take place at the Banquet Room of the Sixth Ward Athletic Club located at 22 West Broadway in Oneonta, NY, and Bella Michael’s Restaurant will cater the affair. The new menu is posted below. The evening will begin as usual at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, a formal welcome at 6p.m. followed by the Buffet Dinner at 6:15 p.m. and the special program at 7:30 p.m. A cash bar will be available at the front of the Athletic Club. 

As in the past, a “flock” of bird-themed Charter Raffle items and door prizes will be presented. Tickets for the Charter Raffle (a bucket raffle) are available HERE and at the Hawkwatch Open House at the DOAS Sanctuary on October 3. Charter Raffle winners are not required to be present at the dinner.

Our guest speaker for the evening will be Dr Lauren Sultaire who will speak about the geographical aspects of bird conservation. The program will be a part of our in-person Charter Dinner event at the 6th Ward Athletic Club Banquet Room, but anyone may attend on Zoom, free of charge. Due to space limitations at the live event, in person attendance for the program portion will not be possible.
