West Branch Preserve Bird Walk

Join DOAS Director Charlie Scheim and Sandy Bright for a bird walk starting at 8am at the West branch preserve in Hamden on Saturday, June 24. During the walk, we will offer ideas for birders who are atlasers, but all are welcome. The walk will follow well-worn hard-packed dirt trails, which will likely include some amount of uphill walking, depending on how far along we get. The West Branch Preserve is located on route 10 between Delhi and Walton shortly after River Valley New Holland farm supply (when traveling from Delhi toward Walton) and has a small parking lot. There are no restrooms there.
