Structure and Function in Forested Ecosystems

Join Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society on Friday, November 15 at 7:30pm for a pictorial tour of forested ecosystems to see what is in them and how they work.  We will consider spatial scales from individual plants to landscapes. The program will take place at the Elm Park United Methodist Church, 401 Chestnut Street, Oneonta, NY.  The program is FREE and open to the public and refreshments will be available.

Presenter, Dr. Jack Tessier, SUNY Delhi, Biology, completed his Bachelor’s degree at SUNY Geneseo and his PhD at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. His research is based in plant ecology, especially that of forest understory plants.
