Bird-Friendly Windows Measurements

Learn why bird-friendly homes are important to protect birds at our April 18 Program, 7:30pm on Zoom – Register Here

IMPORTANT: You should be seeing this page ONLY if you have already registered for one of our workshops (full schedule with registration links are below the windows form).

Delaware Otsego Audubon Society is providing FREE workshops this Spring for homeowners in our communities to make and take home window treatments for up to three windows at their homes to help prevent collisions. Our workshop schedule is at the bottom of this page. Pre-registration is required so that we can have ample materials available.

We have limited funds available for free window treatments, so please register early and consider a donation for providing additional materials for this program.

Contact Susan O’Handley at s.ohandley@doas.us or by phone at 607-397-3815 (leave a message) for more information or if you have any questions.

WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR WINDOWS!

Please complete the form below to let us know about your windows! You can also order any additional materials using the form below.

Window Measurements for Free Acopian Bird-Savers – to be made and picked up at your selected workshop date above.

For the measurements, let us know the exact measurement of your glass in the entries below. (For Width, we will add additional inch on both sides to the J-Channel for mounting that you can trim as needed. For length: we will adjust for knots and provide a few extra inches so that you can either trim or use as is.)
See instructions above on Measuring Your Windows and determining LxW to submit in these fields.
