Field Program: First Day Hike at Glimmerglass State Park, Jan. 1

Join DOAS Board Member, Becky Gretton from 1:00pm-2:00pm on January 1st for a New Year winter wonderland at Glimmerglass State Park.

This program begins at the Nature Center and follows trails looking for Golden Eagles and winter birds.  Hiking boots are recommended.  A bonfire and warm drinks will be provided following the hike at the Beaver Pond.

First Day Hikes are designed to encourage visitors to enjoy state parks year round and to promote good health and exercise.  We hope to heighten public awareness and attention to the important role state parks play in fostering healthy lifestyles for all ages.
