Free Woods Walk in Mount Vision on September 30

On Saturday, September 30th, from 9AM to 11:30AM the New York Forest Owners Association will host a free woods walk at the 1,250 acre Schoolhouse State Forest, Jones Road, Mt. Vision, NY. DEC forester Nathan Funk will explain how the DEC conducts a timber harvest that insures forest regeneration and how the DEC partnered with the town to create recreational trails.
